Coast & hinterland
Asphalt & bitumen surfacing on the Gold Coast
From the beachside suburbs to the acreage in the hinterland, Road Ways lays and resurfaces driveways, car parks and civil surfaces across the Gold Coast. Free quotes, put in writing before we start.
Surfacing built for the coastal wet
The Gold Coast throws two things at a surface that inland jobs do not: sustained summer downpours, and a lot of sites with a high water table close to the canals and the coast. Both come back to the same thing, drainage. We set the fall so water runs off fast and build in drainage where a site needs it, because standing water is what undermines a driveway or car park from below.
Whether you want the smooth finish of asphalt, the value of a bitumen spray seal on a longer hinterland drive, or a car park resurfaced without shutting your business, we work out what suits the site and the traffic, and quote it honestly.
What we do here
Every surface, one local crew
Suburbs we cover
Across the Gold Coast, coast to hinterland
We regularly surface driveways and car parks in these suburbs and everywhere between them. Not listed? Ask us, the answer is almost always yes.

Local work
From the beaches to the hinterland
Gold Coast jobs run from tight coastal driveways to long hinterland acreage drives. Both need a surface set up to shed the coastal wet rather than hold it.
Common questions
Surfacing on the Gold Coast, answered
Which parts of the Gold Coast do you cover?
From the coastal suburbs like Coolangatta, Broadbeach and Burleigh Heads through to the hinterland acreage around Coomera, Clagiraba and Guanaba, and everywhere between. If your suburb is not on our list, ask us, the answer is almost always yes.
Do you do both driveways and car parks on the Gold Coast?
Yes. Residential driveways, strata and commercial car parks, and civil surfacing. Car park work is staged section by section so you can keep trading while we resurface.
How does the coastal weather affect my driveway?
The big one here is water. Sustained summer downpours and a high water table near the canals will undermine a surface from below if it cannot drain. We set the fall so water runs off fast, and build in drainage where the site needs it, before any asphalt or seal goes down.
Asphalt or a spray seal for a hinterland acreage drive?
For a long rural drive, a bitumen spray seal is often the smarter value. For a tighter suburban driveway, asphalt gives a smoother finish. We look at the length, the traffic and the budget and give you an honest steer rather than push one over the other.
Can you resurface a Gold Coast car park without closing it?
Usually, yes. We stage the work section by section and time it around your trading hours so the car park keeps working while we go, with fresh line marking to finish.
