Car park resurfacing in South East Queensland
A worn car park looks tired and turns into a liability once the potholes and pooling start. We resurface car parks of any size, small lot to large commercial, and stage the work so you can keep trading while we do it.
What car park resurfacing involves
Resurfacing lays a fresh layer of asphalt or bitumen over a prepared surface to bring a car park back to smooth, safe and presentable. But the fresh layer is only part of it. Skip the repairs underneath and the same cracks and potholes come straight back through. We do it in order, so the result lasts.
- Assess and prepare. We check the condition, clear debris and sort out the structural problems before anything new goes down.
- Repair first. Cracks, potholes and failed patches get fixed to give the new surface a stable, even base.
- Resurface. We lay and compact fresh asphalt or bitumen to a smooth, durable finish.
- Line marking. Crisp, well-planned line marking to make the most of the space and keep traffic moving safely.
- Seal coating. An optional protective coat that shrugs off weather, UV and wear, and adds years to the surface.
Civil capability
Beyond the car park
Profiling
Precise surface removal to prep a base for new pavement, from tight spaces to larger areas.
Asphalt repairs
Pothole repairs and minor asphalt works, done to leave a smooth, safe surface.
Minor civil works
Drainage, kerb and channel, and small-scale road work as part of the job.
We take on commercial and public-sector surfacing as well as private work, and we build to the standards those jobs demand. If your project spills past a straight resurface into civil work, we can carry it.

Common questions
Car park resurfacing questions, answered
How often should a car park be resurfaced?
It depends on how hard it gets used, the weather and how well it has been maintained, but many car parks are due somewhere around the 10 to 15 year mark. Keeping on top of small repairs and the occasional seal coat pushes that out a good way.
Can you resurface while we stay open?
Usually, yes. We stage the work in sections or around your quieter periods so you keep as many bays open as possible and keep trading. We map that plan out with you before we start so there are no surprises.
Do you handle the line marking too?
Yes, fresh line marking is part of the job. We plan the layout to get the most safe, usable bays out of the space, including accessible spaces and traffic flow, then mark it up once the new surface has cured.
What if it only needs repairs, not a full resurface?
Then that is what we quote. If patching the potholes and adding a seal coat will get you a few more good years, we will tell you that rather than sell you a full resurface you do not need yet.
Is seal coating worth it?
It is not compulsory, but it is a cheap way to protect an expensive surface. A seal coat guards against water, UV and wear, and buys you extra years before the next resurface is due.
How long does a resurface take?
That comes down to the size and condition of the car park. A smaller lot can be a couple of days; a large commercial car park that needs repairs first can run to about a week. We give you a realistic timeline in the written quote.

On the job
Staged to keep you trading
A car park resurface can be staged section by section so the business keeps operating. Fresh line marking goes back on once the surface has cured.
